PDICEL-SE 2026

PDICEL-SE 2026: IEEE ISPA 2026 Special Session on Parallel and Distributed Intelligence, Cloud-Edge Computing, and Large Models for Smart Education

The rapid advance of generative large models is reshaping smart education and creating new requirements for low-latency response, massive data-parallel processing, and reliable distributed service support. However, traditional centralized educational platforms often struggle to support real-time classroom interaction, offline teaching services, and the privacy-preserving processing of student learning data.
This special session focuses on the convergence of parallel and distributed intelligence, cloud-edge collaborative computing, and large models for education. It aims to explore cutting-edge distributed AI technologies for smart education, bridge foundational theories of parallel and distributed computing with practical educational applications, and foster efficient, trustworthy, and scalable intelligent education systems.
This special session is now soliciting original research contributions from researchers and practitioners worldwide. We look forward to your submissions!

We invite submissions from academia, government and industry that present novel research on the topics as following areas:

  • Frontier Parallel and Distributed Intelligent Algorithms for Educational Scenarios
  • Cloud-Edge Collaborative System Architectures for Smart Education
  • Distributed Collaborative Inference of Large Language Models in Teaching Scenarios
  • Dynamic Task Offloading and Resource Scheduling for Educational Cloud-Edge Clusters
  • Lightweight Optimization and Edge Deployment of Domain-Specific Educational Large Models
  • Parallel Mining and Intelligent Analysis of Massive Student Learning Behavior Data
  • Distributed Adaptive Learning Systems Driven by Cloud-Edge Big Data
  • Low-Latency Interactive Intelligent Classrooms Based on Parallel Edge Computing
  • Federated Learning for Privacy-Preserving Distributed Educational Computing
  • Blockchain-Enabled Trusted Distributed Data Management for Smart Campuses
  • Energy-Efficient Green Parallel Computing for Educational Computing Terminals
  • Heterogeneous Distributed Computing Optimization for Diverse Educational IoT Devices
  • Distributed Metaverse Education Systems Supported by Cloud-Edge Architectures
  • Safety and Risk Assessment of Distributed Intelligent Education Service Systems
